Query Letter

Bethel Bulletin; Query; Camp Bethel

Dear Sue,

I would like to ask you to feature my personal narrative about self discovery in the Bethel Bulletin for the camp members. I would like to think this piece would act as a blanket apology for my Camp Bethel family because of my unprofessional decision this past summer.

This piece has a very strong descriptive component detailing my teenage years at a Camp Bethel. It will be in a braided essay format and have a gee whiz style to it where I aim to make the camp seem fresh and even more beautiful to its members. However the realization of self discovery happens much later when I don’t live there anymore, but miss the community with a passion. Everything from the people, the land, the events, the buildings, and the job my parents and I lived there for will be included. I plan on forgetting nothing.

As for my qualifications, I had several poems published in the high school’s attempt for a magazine, and beyond that is unseen. You can contact me at pnichols08@unity.edu or by phone at 207-465-5231.

Sincerely,

Phoebe Nichols
